Studio Lobby Greater | Create a welcoming atmosphere at YIT! (Mondays-Thursdays 4-8pm, 4 or 2 hour shifts available) As a greater, you'll be the first friendly face families and performers see. Greet families, answer basic questions, direct visitors to the right places, and help keep the lobby organized and inviting. Perfect for someone who enjoys people and wants to set a positive tone at the studio.

Clean-up Days | Help keep YIT Studio looking its best! (Aug.10th from 2-5pm/Jan. 4th from 2-5pm/May. 31th from 2-5pm) Volunteers assist with general cleaning, organizing storage areas, tidying the lobby and studio spaces, and performing light maintenance tasks. Ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work and want to make a visible impact on the environment our young performers thrive in.

Errand Runner | Be the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps everything moving! (Ongoing) Support the studio by picking up supplies, delivering items, or running quick errands during busy rehearsal and production times. Flexible scheduling makes this great for volunteers with a car and a can-do attitude.

Audition Helper | Create a warm, organized, and encouraging environment for young performers. (Stars Company & Spotlight Summer Intensive, Dates TBD) Assist with checking in participants, directing them where to go, and helping with paperwork. You'll help calm nerves and ensure everything runs smoothly on audition day.

Sets & Props | Bring the stage to life with your creativity and craftsmanship! (Ongoing) Help design, build, paint, and organize sets and props for productions. Whether you're a skilled builder or just enjoy painting and crafting, there’s a role for you on the creative crew.

Costumes | Help dress the part – literally! (Ongoing) Assist with costume organization, alterations, fittings, and helping performers get into costume during shows. Great for anyone with sewing skills or a love for fashion and theater.

Front of House | Be the welcoming face of YIT performances! (Ongoing) Greet guests, hand out programs, scan tickets, and help patrons find their seats. You’ll set the tone for the audience’s experience and keep the lobby atmosphere friendly and professional.

Tech Booth | Join the magic behind the scenes! (Ongoing) Operate sound and lighting equipment during rehearsals and performances. Some tech knowledge is helpful, but training can be provided. Perfect for detail-oriented volunteers who enjoy a behind-the-scenes role.

Backstage | Keep the show running smoothly from behind the curtain. (Ongoing) Support performers with quick costume changes, prop placement, and scene transitions. A great fit for calm, organized volunteers who can work in a fast-paced environment.

Holiday Decorator | Help bring festive cheer to YIT with your creativity! (Ongoing) As a Holiday Decorator, you'll help transform YIT’s studio, lobby, and common areas into a festive, welcoming space during seasonal celebrations. From hanging lights and garlands to crafting themed decorations, your creative touch helps make the studio feel magical for students, families, and audiences. Great for volunteers who love decorating, crafting, or spreading holiday joy.

Cabaret Amongst the Stars | A dazzling evening of performances, celebration, and community support. (March 6) Volunteers help make it all happen—assisting with event setup and teardown, decorating, guest check-in, raffle and auction tables, serving refreshments, and keeping the evening flowing smoothly. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy event planning, hosting, or simply being part of an elegant and meaningful celebration in support of youth in the arts.
